Welcome to Sherpa of Life. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, services, consultations, workshops, and any digital or in‑person interactions with us. By accessing our website or booking a session, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

1. About Sherpa of Life

Sherpa of Life provides holistic wellness services including:

  • Ayurvedic health guidance

  • Amanae emotional bodywork

  • Yoga and meditation sessions

  • Workshops, courses, and educational content

  • Online consultations and digital resources

Sherpa of Life is based in Wavre, Wallonia, Belgium and operates internationally online.

2. Nature of Services

Sherpa of Life offers wellness guidance, not medical treatment.

Our services:

  • Do not diagnose, treat, or cure medical conditions

  • Do not replace medical advice from licensed healthcare professionals

  • Are intended for educational, supportive, and lifestyle purposes only

You agree to consult your doctor or healthcare provider for any medical concerns.

3. Eligibility

You must be:

  • 18 years or older, or

  • A minor with written parental or guardian consent

By booking a session, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Booking & Payment

4.1 Booking

Sessions can be booked via email. You will receive a confirmation email once your booking is accepted.

4.2 Payment

Payments are processed by bank transfer or cash. Sherpa of Life does not store your payment details.

4.3 Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your session.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be charged in full.

  • No‑shows are charged in full.

Workshops may have separate cancellation policies.

5. Online Consultations

Online sessions may be conducted via Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms.

You agree to:

  • Use a stable internet connection

  • Ensure privacy during your session

  • Not record the session without explicit consent

Sherpa of Life does not record sessions unless mutually agreed.

6. Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information during intake

  • Inform us of any physical or emotional conditions relevant to the session

  • Take responsibility for your wellbeing during and after sessions

  • Follow safety instructions during yoga or movement practices

You understand that results vary and depend on your personal engagement.

7. Intellectual Property

All content provided by Sherpa of Life — including text, graphics, images, videos, workshops, recipes, and educational materials — is protected by copyright.

You may not:

  • Copy

  • Reproduce

  • Distribute

  • Modify

  • Sell

  • Share paid content publicly

without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Sherpa of Life is not liable for:

  • Medical issues arising before, during, or after sessions,

  • Injuries resulting from improper practice of yoga or movement,

  • Misinterpretation of guidance or educational content,

  • Technical issues during online sessions,

  • Loss of data due to third‑party platforms.

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

Your personal data is handled according to our Privacy Policy, which complies with GDPR and international standards.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Privacy Policy.

10. Third‑Party Services

We may use third‑party providers for:

  • Payments

  • Booking

  • Email newsletters

  • Video conferencing

  • Website analytics

We are not responsible for the policies or practices of these providers.

11. International Use

Sherpa of Life operates globally. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of our services complies with the laws of your country.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest version. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by:

  • Belgian law

  • Applicable EU regulations

Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in Belgium.

Terms and Conditions - online webinars

By registering for a Sherpa of Life online webinar, you agree to the following terms:

1. Registration & Access Participation requires prior registration through the Sherpa of Life website. You will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link. Please ensure your device and internet connection are functioning before the session begins.

2. Personal Use Only All content shared during the webinar — including teachings, slides, recordings, and materials — is for your personal use. Redistribution, copying, or sharing without written permission from Sherpa of Life is not allowed.

3. Recording & Privacy Sherpa of Life may record webinars for educational or promotional purposes. By joining, you consent to being part of the recording. If you prefer not to appear, please keep your camera off and your microphone muted.

4. Wellness Disclaimer Sherpa of Life webinars offer general educational information on Ayurveda and holistic wellbeing. They do not replace medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for personal health concerns.

5. Respectful Participation We ask all participants to maintain a respectful and supportive environment. Sherpa of Life reserves the right to remove any participant engaging in disruptive or inappropriate behaviour.

6. Technical Issues Sherpa of Life is not responsible for technical difficulties arising from your device, software, or internet connection. If the webinar cannot proceed due to unforeseen technical issues on our side, a rescheduled date will be offered.

7. Changes & Cancellation Sherpa of Life may update webinar details or cancel the event if necessary. Registered participants will be informed by email.

By completing your registration, you acknowledge and accept these terms.
